Yin yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. In this training we will explore:

Yin Yoga Foundations for the Body

Experience the practice of Yin Yoga with precise and correct physical alignment cues and learn The Chinese Meridian Theory.

Yin Yoga Foundations for the Mind

Cultivate mindfulness and open awareness drawn from Yogic and Vedantic teachings.

Foundations for Teaching Yin Yoga

Yin Sequencing and the  sustainable yin approach

Foundations of  Yoga Philosophy

Yogic philosophies from the yoga sutras and texts.

Relational Awareness Practices

Includes generating loving-kindness and compassion, as well as engaging in contemplative dialogues with others on specific subjects.

Upon completion of both Level 1 & Level 2 you will receive a 30 hr Yin Yoga certification form the Sacred Seed Yoga College enabling you to teach yin yoga.  Open to all levels, this program is designed for everyone and anyone wanting to make a positive change for well-being.

Studies have shown that Yin Yoga can increase muscle suppleness and elasticity, thus enhancing and strengthening the connective tissues in the body.

Yin Yoga and Mindful meditation can also allow us to connect more deeply with our body and calm our mind.

The weekend course course modules will include mindful meditation practices with dynamic and static yin yoga postures for health and healing.

The mindful meditation will include profound contemplations for transformation and the yoga postures will include the energetics of yoga & the Chinese Meridian Theory.

Credits or CEUs from this course can be used towards the Yoga Alliance as continuing education.
