The Ayurvedic diet and nutritional concepts will be explored in this course for the purposes of health and well-being. Ayurvedic Lifestyle & Ayurveda Therapies: Includes the main practices and therapies such as Abhyanga (body oil massage), nasya (nasal treatments), neti pot (nasal wash), eye washes, oil pulling, tongue cleansing and an introduction to marma point therapy.
The Psychology of Ayurveda: Understanding psycho-spiritual development, the mental process of health and disease, mental personality of various dosha types and the subtle energies of the mind.
Asana & Ayurveda: An introduction to Ayurvedic Yoga therapy and the practical use of yoga postures as well as the Vayus (the five directions of pranic movement) and how that impacts the three doshas.
Pranayama & Ayurveda: Learn various pranayama techniques and their relationship to the dosha. You will also learn to recommend the appropriate practice for freinds, family members, as well as your students or clients.
